About the Artist
Born and raised in the vibrant energy of Saigon, Vietnam, her journey as an artist has always been intimately intertwined with the language of architecture. After obtaining her Master’s degree in Architecture in France and practicing within an architectural firm, her creative work naturally evolved into a bridge between two worlds: the calculated precision of spatial design and the expressive, tactile freedom of abstract painting. While she has painted throughout her life, the stillness of the global pandemic marked a pivotal return to the canvas.
Painting is the moment that allowed her to dive deeper into personal explorations, testing new techniques, and embracing a more intuitive way of observing the world.
As she enters her 30s, the work of this artist undergoes a profound shift from the structural landscapes of her earlier practice toward a raw, psychological exploration of the human “personnage.” Marking her 30th year a threshold of both reflection and societal expectation, her 2025 collection pivots to the portrait as its primary site of inquiry.
In these recent works, the artist moves beyond the precision of spatial design to deconstruct the “architecture of the face.” Her focus lies in identifying facial behaviors, the subtle grimace of doubt, the pensive tilt of a chin, or the overlapping silhouettes of a crowded internal monologue. These are not merely representations of individuals; they are vessels for the questions she asks herself about aging, identity, and the masks we wear to navigate modern society.
